If our options below do not include what you need let us know—we may already offer the option or be able to custom design a gazebo for you.
Gazebo Screens
Converting your gazebo to a screenhouse is an excellent idea for areas where gnats and other flying insects are an issue. Screen kits include removable screens for each wall section and a screen door. Doors are self closing with hinges on the right (as viewed from the outside of the gazebo) and swing out. Screening is charcoal-colored fiberglass. Screening may also be installed between the floor joists and deck.
Gazebo Benches
Benches can be ordered as an option and fastened around the inside perimeter of your gazebo. If you order a screen kit with your gazebo the benches are attached to the floor but not the side wall.
Turned Gazebo Posts & Rails
Standard wooden posts and rails are resurfaced lumber with rounded corners. We also offer lathe-turned wooden rail spindles and posts. Wood rails are available in both 2"x3" and 2"x2" sizes; vinyl rails are available as 2"x2" spindles only. For both wood and vinyl gazebos you may get spindle style posts as well as rails.
Gazebo Rail Height
Standard gazebo rails are 31 ½" high. We offer 36" rails as an option.
Victorian Gazebo Braces
Victorian style braces can be used to add a decorative touch to your gazebo.
Electrical Packages for Gazebos
If you wish to install a ceiling fan to add a breeze in the gazebo, ask for the hidden electrical wiring package with switches and receptacles. The switch and GFI 20 amp receptacles are normally installed on a post by the door and the 14 gauge outdoor copper wiring runs to the center of the ceiling. The ceiling fan is not included with the electrical package.
Vinyl Windows in Gazebos
You may order tinted vinyl windows to reduce wind, rain, and bright sunlight in the gazebo. Windows can be easily removed for cleaning. Vinyl windows are UV resistant for lengthy maintenance-free service. As with the screen doors, hinges are on the right unless requested otherwise and the door swings out of the gazebo.
Gazebo Decking
Wooden gazebos come standard with treated wood decking nailed to the treated joists below. You may have the decking screwed to the joists instead. Vinyl gazebos include a composite floor screwed in place. In addition, composite decking may be ordered for a wooden gazebo. Composite floors are always screwed in place.
Paint & Sealer for Gazebos
We offer both paint and sealer for your wood gazebos. Painted gazebos receive three coats of paint, with the third being a semigloss finish. White paint is standard but we can paint your gazebo to another color of your choice. We can also seal your wooden gazebo with a UV-resistant coat to help preserve the new appearance. Sealer needs to be reapplied periodically to be effective. Wooden floors and cedar shingle roofs may be sealed as well, particularly on painted gazebos.
Heavy Duty Pavilion Gazebos
Pavilion gazebos are large heavy duty structures built using larger timbers than are used for our standard size gazebos. Larger gazebos of any style may be configured as a heavy duty pavilion.
